Dogs Design is a 30 years established professional dog grooming parlour in St.Albans, Hertfordshire. It is run and managed solely by the proprietor. Services included at Dogs Design are bathing, drying, grooming, clipping, trimming, nail cutting and hand stripping ( Specialist breeds only ). All breeds are styled to their breed standard unless the owner requests otherwise. Occasionally a dog may be bought into Dogs Design with excessive knotts that are impossible to groom out and so have to be cut. This then means the correct style can not be achieved for your pet. At Dogs Design all breeds and crossed breeds are catered for with the exception of extra large dogs as I do not have the facilities to cater for them. Although I do many styles of pet grooming to the breed standard, I do not groom show dogs. All dogs have my individual attention and are not caged at any time. The usual proceedure is to bring your pet into Dogs Design and then collect at a given time, normally within a couple of hours. Leaving your dog for the first time is like leaving your child on the first day of nursery! I can assure you that your pet will be well looked after and pampered during their pet grooming session and usually the owner is more nervous than their pet! For very nervous dogs (or owners! ) it can be arranged for you to stay with your dog but this must be agreed when booking the appointment. Dogs Design is not a shop but a small pet grooming business that I have run successfully from my home for the last 30 years based in St.Albans Hertfordshire.
